The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs offers a wide range of benefits to eligible individuals. To qualify, one must first be either of the following: a veteran, a veteran’s dependent, a surviving spouse, child or parent of a deceased veteran, an active duty military service member, or a member of the Reserve or National Guard.
